Most of the illustrations you see here were done on the computer.
They all start out as pencil sketches and were then scanned in and built up much the same way you would do with a painting. This page in particular is all vector based work, a favorite of mine. I started working with Adobe Illustrator in 1996 and pretty much fell in love with the way the program works. It is still one of my favorite applications for straight forward illustration. I do miss the tactile quality of working with pen, ink, markers etc., so I try not to neglect the more traditional stuff. I will be adding a section of just black and white pen and ink work, so stay tuned.
