This is already much different from doing a drawing a day. I can't say how the process will evolve over time but I could easily see the first few days of the week spent repeating the process of sketching and refining. I sort of started exploring this way of working things up toward the end of the daily drawing project and it is an excellent way of refining things. In all honesty a few years ago I would have been to impatient to even consider working like this.
Already with just one step taken to define this a bit more it's moved on quite a bit from the original sketch.
